As we show

rather further deteriorate the income potential and/or amount of loans
to be written, take note that the effects of the changes in lending
criteria which is to effect the subprime market will actually effect
15% of the market. It is said that 15% of the borrowers fall into the
subprime loan category. It is not stating that they will not be able to
get loans but rather that they will be considered a higher risk and
will be taking loans at a higher interest rate. Those who spend the
next couple years working on making payments on time and remedying
their low credit scores will surely be looking to refinance at that
time to gain a better interest rate.

Title Insurance Industry Overhaul |

Recently, Forbes Magazine
ran an article which could only be taken as a negative indictment of
the title industry. Referring at different times to research,
interviews and the findings of an 18-month investigation conducted by
the state of Washington’s insurance commissioner, the article’s author,
Scott Woolley, contends that the title industry has enriched itself for
decades and “bilked home buyers out of billions of dollars.”
Additionally, Woolley asserts that automated land records will
eliminate the need for title insurance and the title profession. (If
you haven’t read “Inside America’s Richest Insurance Racket,”

several pages of spirited, sometimes heated, comments, including a

Precedent Setting Notary Passes |

The Maryland man whose quest to become a notary public turned into a
Supreme Court case died on June 9, 2007, 46 years after the court
validated his refusal to take a state oath requiring him to declare a
belief in God. Roy Torcaso, an avowed atheist, worked for a Bethesda,
Md. construction company as a bookkeeper in 1959. His boss asked him to become a notary public.Torcaso’s legal
battles began when he refused to swear to a state oath before
Montgomery County Circuit Court Clerk Clayton Watkins professing the
existence of God. The state disqualified him and barred his notary
commission. At the time, Torcaso said the issue was not whether he
believed in a Supreme Being but "whether the state has a right to
inquire into my beliefs." The Maryland courts upheld the state
constitution on the basis that Torcaso had not been forced to become a
notary public.

presence. Articles and content have become the key element in the
success of your website. If you were to look at the internet as a huge
library and the sites within the net as the books, then your site is a
book amongst millions. If your book simply had pretty pictures and no
or little content, then it will not pull up very well when someone is
searching by keywords within books in the library.
