Do not be meek about asking questions about the loan you are considering. After all, you are the customer. Do not worry about upsetting someone with your questions, insist upon answers until you fully understand the terms and the process. Be certain of what you are doing.
Make lots of notes and anything you can get in writing such as in an email is a wise move. This way there is no confusion and you can make sure that what they tell you in that email actually reflects in the documents to be signed for the loan.
